The Shark Free Marinas Initiative works with resort marinas, municipal marinas and private marinas that cater to sport fishing vessels. Our members do not allow fishermen to land caught sharks at their facility. This initiative encourages the use of catch-and-release programs and promotes sustainable fisheries.
Registration is completely free of charge
Marinas who support this initiative will receive support materials in the form of dock signs, advertising space and the right to use our logo. If you would like to donate to our work you may leave a voluntary contribution with the provided PayPal form.
Use this form to register
Once completed you will receive a confirmation email and your business will be listed on our site within 3 days. If you are located in the United States, Caribbean or Australia you will be sent two (2) 12"x18" marine grade dock signs to be posted on your establishment.
